We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to assist our technicians, therapists, and veterinarians with consultations, medical records, therapy sessions, and Practice Manager/reception with additional duties as needed.

Duties:

  • Animal care and handling
  • Hospital cleanliness and sterility
  • Client communication and scheduling
  • Requesting and reviewing patient medical records
  • Electronic medical record keeping
  • Teaching and performing therapeutic exercises with patients and clients

Required Qualities and Skills:

  • Always demonstrates compassion toward our patients
  • Able to follow directions with minimal supervision
  • Able to communicate efficiently and effectively
  • Able to work both independently and as a team player
  • Positive attitude and flexibility
  • Detail-oriented and focused
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs and stand for long periods of time
